ITINERARY

Day 1

Today we visit Waterperry Gardens. Made famous by Beatrix Havergal who established her School of Horticulture for Ladies here from 1932 to 1971, it's now home to 8 acres of beautifully landscaped ornamental gardens, a quality plant centre and garden shop, gallery and gift barn, museum and teashop. We arrive at the 4* Cheltenham Hotel in time for dinner.

Day 2

This morning we visit the town of Cirencester before travelling to Highgrove Gardens. Where we enjoy a 1.5 hour guided tour & 2 course lunch.

Guided tour of Highgrove Gardens
His Majesty the King has spent 30 years transforming the grounds of Highgrove into what have been acknowledged as some of the most inspired and innovative gardens in the United Kingdom.
His Majesty's strict adherence to organic and sustainable methods has helped create gardens which are both magical and intriguing while being environmentally sound; encouraging both plants and wildlife to thrive.

The garden tour lasts approximately 90 minutes and is a walk of about 2 miles. All garden tours are led by one of His Majesty's Garden guides. Visitors with walking difficulties should be aware that some paths are unmade. We suggest you wear stout shoes and suitable clothing as the tours continue during wet weather.

2 Course Lunch Sample Menu
Chicken Supreme served with crushed new potatoes, seasonal vegetables & jus
Seasonal Eton Mess using the most seasonal fruit and served with broken meringue pieces & freshly whipped cream
